Terms and Conditions of Uniport Ltd

These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between Uniport Ltd, hereinafter referred to as the "Lender", and the applicant, hereinafter referred to as the "applicant", regarding the terms of any loan issued by the Lender to the applicant. “Applicant” means the borrower is currently applying for the student loan and has not submitted an application or has submitted the application but the application is under review.

  1. Loan Application: I authorize UNIPORT LTD to process my loan application, including collecting the necessary personal and financial information required for the evaluation and processing of the loan.
  2. Communications: I consent to receive communications from UNIPORT LTD via email, phone, or mail regarding my loan application status, updates, and other related matters. I will always inform the UNIPORT LTD Team at any given point when I change my contact details and this is legally binding.
  3. Reports: I understand that UNIPORT LTD may obtain credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant reports from third-party agencies or institutions to assess my creditworthiness and eligibility for the loan.
  4. Guarantors: I agree to provide the necessary information and documentation of any guarantors associated with my loan application. I understand that their consent shall also be required for processing the loan application.
  5. Confidentiality: I acknowledge that all information provided by me or collected during the loan application process will be treated with confidentiality and will only be used to evaluate and process my loan application.
  6. CRB Check: I hereby authorize UNIPORT LTD to confirm my credit information in other financial institutions and also any registered Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) before processing this loan and during repayment.
  7. Bank Account: I understand that UNIPORT LTD requires Loan Applicants to be using NCBA Accounts, and I will adhere to this.
  8. Withdrawal of Consent: I understand that I have the right to withdraw this consent ONLY when the loan/the amount awarded is fully repaid.
  9. Agreement to Terms: By signing this consent form, I confirm that I have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined herein and agree to abide by them.
